You are able to use standard car tyres on your electric vehicle, however, the standard tyre's life span is shortened at a greater rate and will affect the EV's ability to perform efficiently (i.e. it would reduce battery performance). The standard car tyre will wear out faster than the EV-specific tyre due to the extra torque and weight of the electric vehicle.
